Introducing Tom Williams: Beloved Asheville Teacher Joins Asheville Rooftop Bar Tours!

We are thrilled to introduce Tom Williams, a beloved retired teacher and enthusiastic advocate for Asheville's vibrant cultural scene, as the newest member of the Asheville Rooftop Bar Tours team!

“With my new role, I still consider myself a teacher… just in an outdoor classroom that’s rounded out by cocktails!,” said Tom. “In particular, I love that this new role allows me to reconnect with students and families in this one-of-a-kind setting.”

With a background as an Art History teacher at Asheville High School, “Tom brings a wealth of knowledge and a deep appreciation for Asheville's artistic and architectural heritage to our tours,” said Asheville Rooftop Bar Tours Founder and Owner Kaye Bentley. “Tom is also passionate about supporting our local community, which is a cornerstone for our tours and our company. We are delighted to have Tom join our team!”

Participants can look forward to engaging discussions on Asheville's history and distinctive architectural landmarks, all while savoring refreshing signature cocktails and mingling with fellow residents and visitors.

In particular, Tom has passionately embraced “High Art: A Rooftop Rendezvous with the Asheville Art Museum,” as our guide on our newest tour that takes place on Thursdays.

This innovative initiative presents a unique opportunity for Asheville residents and visitors to reconnect with the downtown skyline while enjoying a behind-the-scenes tour of the Asheville Art Museum.
